Matthew is a founding partner of the practice and qualified as a chartered surveyor in 1997.
He specialises in S106 advice, including viability appraisals as well as commercial and residential valuation advice, landlord and tenant issues and investment sales and acquisitions. Acting for a wide range of clients, Matthew is recognised as one of the region’s leading property advisors.
Jonathan Emmerson BSc (Hons)

Jonathan is a founding partner of the practice and qualified as a chartered surveyor is 1997.
He specialises in retail and leisure agency, investment and development advice and was instrumental in bringing forward a number of successful schemes across the region. He acts for both corporate occupiers and agencies as well as acting for a number of high net worth individuals.
Robert Maxey BSc (Hons)
MRICS Registered Valuer
Robert qualified as a chartered surveyor in 1997 and joined heb in 2006.
He is recognised as one of the UK’s leading specialists on the Community Infrastructure Levy as well as S106 issues. Robert is also one of the region’s leading industrial and office advisors and deals with a large number of agency and development instructions.
Will Torr BSc (Hons)
MRICS
Will joined heb in 2011 and qualified as a chartered surveyor in 2013.
He specialises in investment acquisitions and disposals as well as agency and development advice to a wide range of clients. Will has advised on some of the region’s largest investment acquisitions on behalf of a number of funds.
Nick Witek-Morgan BA Hons
Nick joined heb in 2019 and advises across commercial agency and valuations, having a particular emphasis on residential developments and investments for both private and corporate clients.
